Indefinite Strike by KGVOA - Precautionary Measures - Orders

The following instructions are issued for strict compliance for the smooth functioning of veterinary institutions in Malappuram district, in the wake of indefenite strike announced by KGVOA from 22.02.2016 onwards.

1. All veterinary officers who are the head of the institutions are here by directed to hand over the keys of the institutions to respective Livestock Inspectors, or immediate subordinate staff of the institution, before entering in to strike.
2. The subordinate staff in charge should ensure the smooth functioning of the institutions and service to the farmers, within the limits specified duties and powers, delegated to them by the department from time to time.
3. Leaves may be sanctioned to the staff on strict medical ground only, upon producing medical certificate from Govt. medical practitioners, and the leave application should be forwarded to this office for approval.
